Brindavan Udyog (India) was founded in the late 1970s by Mr. Bithal Nath Gupta and Mr. Dwarika Prasad Gupta to revive India's grain milling industry, importing milling machinery and accessories for Indian mills. Today we supply a complete range of conveyor belts and elevator components.

Our story began in the late 1970s in India's grain milling industry. Over four decades we have learned what makes a belt last in real plants: the right cover compound for the material, the right ply construction for the tension, and correct installation and jointing.
2. The right belt for the duty
Abrasive ore needs a different belt from hot clinker, oily fertiliser or white flour. We supply general purpose and SAR belts, heat resistant belts up to 200°C, fire resistant belts, oil resistant, chemical resistant and food-grade hygienic belts.

Which types of conveyor belts does Brindavan Udyog supply?
We supply general purpose (abrasion resistant), heat resistant, fire resistant, oil resistant, chemical resistant, hygienic food-grade, rough top, chevron and steel cord conveyor belts, transmission rubber belting, woven belting (cotton, nylon cotton, nylon, hair, polyester), elevator buckets and belt fasteners.
What temperature can your heat resistant belts handle?
Three grades: T1 up to 125°C (coarse) / 100°C (fines), T2 up to 150°C / 125°C, and the EPDM-based T3 up to 200°C / 180°C.
Which standards do your belt covers conform to?
Depending on the belt type, our cover grades are built to DIN, IS, BS, AS, SANS, RMA, JIS, ISO 340, CAN/CSA and MSHA standards.
How do I choose the right conveyor belt?
Tell us the material conveyed, lump size, temperature, belt width, conveyor length and incline. Our team will recommend the cover grade, ply construction and thickness. You can also use our Technical Guide and calculators.
Do you have food-grade conveyor belts?
Yes. Our hygienic belts have white, odour-free, non-staining covers made with FDA approved polymers, in abrasion resistant, antistatic and oil resistant grades.
Which elevator bucket sizes are available?
D-shape metal buckets in 29 sizes (2½" to 18"), D-shape plastic in 13 sizes, and shovel-type buckets from 90 mm to 380 mm in metal and plastic.

How do I calculate the length of a conveyor belt?
For an open belt over two pulleys: L = 2C + π(D + d)/2 + (D − d)²/4C, where C is the centre distance and D, d the pulley diameters. Our free Belt Length Calculator does this for you.
